Slavic Calendar edition 2021

Polish heathen community of the Slavic Faith is releasing a new Slavic Calendar. The edition for year 2021 is dedicated to Divine Mediators – animals, who are believed to connect worlds and Gods with people.

You can order the Calendar via a Google Form: https://forms.gle/FKwN7HXdeRUvCcs19.

The sacred horse on the cover is related to story telling on Arkona peninsula, last Slavic settlement in contemporary Germany. The horse was dedicated to god Svantevit and no man could ride it.
When the people were considering going to war (suggested by the dark background), the priest was guiding the horse to walk or jump through crossed spears. If the horse did it, as we have on the cover, the war was believed to be successful. All the other animals are described directly in the calendar, check below.
